This academic year, we are keeping our blended approach, allowing for some in school face to face events and others where you can attend Parents’ Evening from the comfort of your own home.
All year groups have one Parents’ Evening, in which the majority of subject teachers will be available. Exam year groups (Year 11 and 13) have an additional event pre-exam season.
New pupils in Y7 and 12 are offered a tutor event at the start of term to check how they have settled in. This event will be in person.
Each Virtual Parents’ Evening takes place using the School Cloud system, with in person events using the same system for booking appointments.
Y7-Y11 Events start from 4:00pm until 7:30pm.
Sixth Form Events start from 4:30pm until 6:30pm.
6 minute appointment windows are provided for the majority of subjects for mainstream classes, SFL and the Base.
Prior to any event, those invited will receive an email giving guidance about using the system and how to make appointments.
You will receive your invitation a week in advance to allow you to plan your evening.
Parents’ Evenings are supported by in person events and online events throughout the year. Please look out for invitations.
