Attitude To Learning Descriptors

The language we use with pupils and students is crucial to ensure they understand the impact they can have on their own learning, progress and outcomes. For every subject we request an “attitude to learning” grade, the descriptors are detailed below. They are assigned using a best fit model for each progress review and should help to provide you with a clear understanding of your child’s current performance in each subject. We would encourage you to spend some time discussing these grades with your child and to highlight, if necessary, what is expected to move up through the descriptors.
